Hello world. It’s me… Kim. As you may know, I’ve been thinking of starting a blog for some time. Well, that time is finally here. As last year came to an end, my husband and I said a bittersweet farewell to our first home. The home we poured our blood, sweat, and gallons-upon-gallons of paint into for the past three years. But with that farewell came an exciting move to start our next adventure. Josh and I traded our 1960’s suburban split-level for a 1980’s ranch on a beautiful wooded property further from the city.

In our first three years as homeowners, we took on numerous renovation, design, and home improvement adventures. Our new home brings with it a whole new set of projects and we’re already getting started! In the weeks and years to come, this blog will chronicle the best (and the worst) of past and future home-owning endeavors. I can’t wait to share our progress, tips, and tricks along the way. Of course, there will be plenty of guest appearances by our two adorable Labradors, Jack and Luna… because obviously I can’t have a blog without the occasional furbaby.
